HEALTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN (HDP)
We must take care of ourselves: our
mind and body; how about a health development plan? In this plan,
we must prioritize our nutrition program, exercise program and
this would also include a healthy attitude and thinking program.
EXERCISE PROGRAM
Do you get 20-30 minutes three to four
times weekly in aerobic exercise?
Do you also have a strength training
regimen with anaerobic activities?
NUTRITIONAL PROGRAM
Do you eat healthy?
Do you take vitamins and supplements
daily?
MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION PROGRAM
Do you have an annual checkup? What
is your HDL to LDL ratio? Do you have genetic pre-dispositions
to certain illnesses? How is your blood pressure? Who are your
personal physicians? Do your physicians interact with one another
for the betterment of your overall health? Do you you have your
teeth cleaned annually? How often are your dental x-rays done?
Do you have your eyes checked annually? Who helps you to rehabilitate
from inuries and illnesses?
ATTITUDE & THINKING PROGRAM
What attitudes and thoughts help you
cope and deal with stress?
Do you have a support network?
